The Gallatin canyon is known for it’s blue-ribbon trout fishing on the Gallatin River and its tributaries. With the majority of the land being held as wilderness or forest service areas, wildlife is abundant, using the canyon as a migratory path from adjacent Yellowstone National Park. Recreational opportunities are unsurpassed from fishing, rafting, kayaking, hiking and biking, to snowmobiling, snowshoeing and hunting.
The Gallatin Foothills neighborhood is situated in the canyon area of Big Sky, just a short drive to Town Center. Large lots with mature trees provide privacy and a sense of seclusion. Each homesite was hand selected and laid out to take advantage of sunrise and sunset, alpenglow and expansive mountain views.
